Yes. SendGrid's Email Activity API lets Ana search delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, and dropped events. Ana can filter by recipient, template, tag, and date range, then join those events with warehouse conversion data to measure true campaign impact.

Does Ana support SendGrid subusers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you use SendGrid subusers, the connector can authenticate with a parent API key and query subuser stats, or use subuser-specific keys for strict isolation. Admins choose the setup that matches their SendGrid account structure.

How is the SendGrid API key secured?

The API key is encrypted at rest in TextQL's credential vault and injected by our egress proxy at the network layer. Ana's Python sandbox never sees the raw key value. You can rotate the key at any time from the TextQL admin console.

Can Ana send emails?

Accepted Answer

Technically yes with a key that has mail.send scope, but we recommend keeping the TextQL key scoped to read-only. If you want Ana to trigger transactional sends, create a separate write-scoped key that is only used for that specific workflow, and audit its usage.

Are SendGrid webhooks supported?

The connector uses REST endpoints, not webhooks. If you need event-driven workflows, send SendGrid webhooks to your warehouse directly and let Ana query them there. This keeps Ana's role focused on analysis rather than event processing.
